Our story

Nobody talks about the inventory. Almost everyone keeps one.

The inventory

The dress that only works with tights. The top with sleeves, always. The swimsuit that stays folded in the drawer while everyone else gets in the water. The photo you step out of, casually, so that nobody notices you stepped out of it.

You know your own list. Most women do. Almost none of us mention it.

Stretch marks after a pregnancy. Veins that turned up in your thirties and never left. A scar you would rather not explain to a stranger at the beach. A tattoo you love on a Tuesday and would rather cover on a Saturday.

None of it needs fixing. That is not what this is about. But on the days you would rather not think about it, you should have a choice — and for a long time the only choice was to cover up, or to spend the day managing it.

What we tried first

Fake tan. Everyone starts there.

Wait four to eight hours. Hope the colour lands somewhere near your own. Sleep on a towel. Then discover it has settled into every mark you were trying to hide and made them darker, not softer — and wait a week for it to fade off unevenly.

It gives you colour. It has never given anyone coverage.

So we went looking for the opposite: something that works the second it touches your skin, holds through water and a full day, and comes off when you decide it comes off. Not a week later.

What we will and will not tell you

We will not tell you your skin is a problem. It is not, and we have no interest in selling you that idea.

We will not tell you this treats, heals or erases anything. It is makeup. Makeup covers.

Here is the whole promise: it goes on in seconds, it stays where you put it, and it washes off with warm water and soap. Legs, arms, décolletage, back — wherever you would rather even things out.

That is a small promise. We would rather be held to a small honest one than a large vague one.
